Girly 8/5/19

Girly LOVES her toys but this squeaky snake is her favorite.  She carries  it around a lot.  As you can see she is fine entertaining herself.  She also crates really well.

Girly 8/2/19 out and about

Girly went to Prtsmart today.  While she didn’t meet a person she didn’t like she was scared of the shiny floors at first.  After a bit or coaxing and giving her time to acclimate she finally conquered her fears and carefully walked the store.  Then we went to Lowe’s and she also walked the floor. I’m so proud of her.

Girly 8/2/19

Just a short walk before a trip to Lowe’s and PetSmart.  Practicing leash manners and “sit”.

Girly 8/1/2019

Girly’s first roach.  Yes, she loves that pink blanket.

Girly 7/5/19

Girly was totally awesome with the thunderstorms and fireworks last night.  We didn’t take her out to watch the fireworks but we could hear them in the house and she slept thru them all.  She wasn’t a fan of having to go potty in the rain though.  She’s super sweet, affectionate and kissy.  She is enjoying her toys, she needs lots of toys and she’s self entertaining which is so much fun to watch.

Girly - Lovin' Life

It's Girly dropping in to say hi again!

Fo'Ma has told me that Saturday is a very special day and I might find my forever family. I wanted to be sure you know what a great addition I would be to your family.

My alternate name could be HAPPY. Im so excited about life! I'm really starting to get this retirement thing and I love it.

I'm excited about walking on a leash and I've gotten so much better at it over the last 2 -3 weeks.

I love my foster family - I would stay with them forever but they keep telling me that somewhere out there, my true forever family is waiting and hoping and praying for me to be there forever happy girl.

I love running up and downstairs and I love exploring!

I love meeting people out on our walks, and I love squirrels (tho' Fo Ma says I should try to love them not so much).

I love eating - I always clean my plate!

I really love toys and I don't even mind if there's no squeakers left in them.

I love life so much that I spend a lot of time on my back with my feet in the air these days. They tell me that's called roaching.

If you're looking for that little spark that will brighten up your life - forever, I'm you're Girly!
Life is good when you have stuffed toys!
I roach both in and out of my crate.

Introducing Girly

Hello my possible FFP's (forever family people)

I would like to introduce myself and tell you how much I love retired life and how I'm so looking forward to finding my forever family.
I'm having a GREYT time in my foster home but foster mom keeps reminding me that this is temporary and hopefully I'll find my forever home soon!

Let me tell you how much I'm loving retirement. I wasn't so sure at first but foster sis' Opal has been showing me the ropes and foster mom tells me, "it's not about the race, it's the journey that counts".

Well I'm pretty darn smart but FM can get a little overly philosophical for me. Opal my FS helps though. She says. "just chill and all the good things will come to you!"

So far I've been learning how to walk on a leash and I'm really getting the hang of it. I'm learning that meals are served twice a day without fail. Treats show up pretty much every time we come home from a walk and sometimes more often!

I'm the one with the antenna up!

I'm learning about all the great smells there are out in the neighborhood, not to mention other dogs, humans, cats, squirrels.

Right now I'm chilling after dinner but I'll get back to you soon!
