Kup (Atascocita Kup): 3/21 - Good news!

Have you heard the good news?! If you didn't get to see me at the last adoption event you will get to see at the next one! So I have been spending my time getting in shape to look my very best!

My exercise routine consists of walking and then stopping to strike just the right pose!

And then walking some more and striking another great pose!

And then doing it all again!

This striking a pose thing really is exhausting!  It takes a lot of time to find just the right pose and then hold it for the camera!  And yes, I always turn my head because foster mom thinks I have a striking profile!

After all that, when I get home I like to take a load off my paws and relax so I can be ready to do it all again the next day!

I love it here!!!  The weather is so much better than Florida for a nice cool walk on the boardwalk!

There was so much to see and sniff on Solomon's Island!  Foster mom said that I did a great job with all of the people, traffic and other dogs that were also out and about!  But what did she expect?  I always listen to her when she tells me to do something.....well, most of the time anyway!

I used to get uncomfortable riding in the car and wanted to get up front with everyone else.  But now I'm cool and just look out the back windows or lay down for a snooze!

Foster mom says I am good at a lot of things!  I'm good going up and down stairs, I use the greyt outdoors to take care of my personal business, I sleep most of the night, I can throw AND catch toys, and of course I am a master roacher!

I'm also good at eating!!!  I actually am a very good eater so I look for nibbles if they are left out for me to find!  After all, a boy has got to eat right?!!

I love snuggling up in the dog beds and hanging out with my hoomans!

Kup (Atascocita Kup): 3/3 - At my new digs!

Not every dog gets to sample different life styles but I guess I am lucky that way!!!  And I have mastered them all!!

Yup...got the snoozing in the sunshine down!

There are many things I love to do like going for walks!  We go for a walk nearly every day!  It's colder here than it was in Florida so foster mom lets me wear my foster sisters jacket!  I think it looks so much better on me than it does on her! What do you think?!

I have three foster sisters that are just like me and sometimes I like to play with them outside!  I also have two little sisters who don't like to play very much so I just leave them alone.   But I always love coming over to my human who never seems to run out of scritches!  I love scritches anywhere, any time!!  And I'm good with hugs too!!  

Foster mom calls me Mr Kuppers  because I am such a stately boy!  But I like to be silly sometimes too!!!  Like giving foster mom big kisses when it's time to wake up for breakfast or when she says "smile for the camera"!!!

I have had some GI issues since I have been here but we found some great food and I'm feeling soo much better!  I like to chew on the toys periodically but will have to wait a little longer until I can have some better stuff to sink my teeth into.  I'm sooo ready!!!

In the mean time, I'm a happy guy and love hanging out with the hoomans!!!  Or just snoozin!!!

Like everyone else in my group, I'm anxious to find that one special home that will be complete when when I am there!  Could it be yours?!!!

Kup (Anacostia Kup): 2/6 - Settling into retirement

Hi, Kup here!

I've learned that I like chew toys, especially after finding a favorite spot to lay down.  These past couple weeks have learned a whole lot.  I've learned I can do the stairs without a problem.  That I can walk on a leash.  That I know my name.  That I'm getting better at settling down at night and chilling out.  I know what the word no means. And that I love getting hugs and kisses and rubs.

All in all I'm pretty set for this retirement life.  I can't wait to meet you on Saturday.

Kup (Anacostia Kup): 2/4 - I'm playful

Hi there,

It's Kup. I'm learning all kinds of things while in retirement.  I found out I like to play.  First off I've make a toy out of anything and I do mean anything.  It could be a sock it could be a blanket whatever it is I love to toss it around.  I even find myself getting playful outside.  

I'm settling in every day and I really know how to relax.

Kup (Anacostia Kup): 1/31- Loving retirement

Hi everybody. Kup here! 

I'm really settling into retirement life.  I've already found my favorite bed in the house and I love following my humans around seeing what they're doing.  I have been known to steal some socks out of the laundry 😄. Hey I'm just having fun here.  I do well on the stairs and I'm getting better at walking on the leash. 

I look forward to every meal time so coaxing me along with a treat is certainly in my future.  I listened very well to correction.  What can I say I'm eager to please.

I hear there's an adoption event next weekend I can't wait to meet all the people.

Kup (Anacostia Kup): 1/29 - I love hugs

Hi it's Kup,

It's been a few days into my retirement and I love all the perks.  I love hanging out with my human and dog foster family.  I love being in the same room with everyone and getting lots of rubs and hugs.  I even give kisses too!  

Today is going to be a great day for a walk. I love all the noises and other dogs.  The TV had a noise I had never heard before. The humans were watch a show called "Star Wars" and the laser fight freaked me out a bit do I took a break. 

I'm a curious boy and is very playful. If you love snuggles and playing, I'm your guy.

Kup (Anacostia Kup): 1/26 - New adventure

Hi I'm Kup!

I'm a big sweet boy that will steal your heart.  I love to cuddle I love Rob's and I love being right next to you.  I just got back from a trip to the vet and I'm doing really well.  I'm a great sleeper I'm good on stairs and I'm learning my manners on the leash.  I love to see and smell everything and I love mirrors.  I've been known to talk to myself occasionally. 😄

I hear there's an adoption event in two weeks and I can't wait.  I really love people I want to meet everybody.  My foster mom says I'm such a good boy and I will get adopted very quickly.
