Kiowa P Maxwell 6/27. Greyt Adventure!

Maxwell is ready for his next Greyt Adventure!  He has mastered his retirement training like a champ and is ready to meet his "happily ever after" family!  

So if you are looking for a handsome, playful, happy dog, who loves being with people as well as other dogs Max is your guy!  He loves joyful praise from his people and will forever be your sidekick just to hear it again!  He will greet you when you get home with a big smile, a wagging tail and sweet kisses!  His sweet antics are sure to make you smile even after a long day!  He would be happy to share your food with you but will respect boundaries if promptly reminded! He responds to positive inputs very well!  He even learned where the back yard is and what it is intended for very quickly!

In short, Maxwell is the epitome of "The Good Dog"!

Kiowa P Maxwell 6/19. Greyt Job!!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen!  He did it!!! Maxwell has mastered going up AND going down the stairs all on his own!!!!  Twas no easy feat for a guy who has never known stairs before!!!  Greyt job Maxwell!!!

But wait!  There's more!!  Maxwell has also discovered that toys that squeak can in fact be very entertaining!!!!  Is there anything better than a happy dog with a squeaky toy?!!!  Me thinks not says Maxwell!

So what does this smart guy do after a long day of training, walking with his foster sisters and giving squeaky toys a serious what for???  Well snuggle in for the night of course!

Kiowa P Maxwell 6/16 Greyt Strides!

Maxwell has officially been retired for 1 full week as of today and is really getting the hang of it!

Although life in a house with a bunch of girls can be difficult, he thinks his foster sisters are da bomb!  He loves going on walks with them because they share the "stinky stuff" for a a good sniff!

Maxwell has already mastered going down stairs and is working hard to get the hang of effective paw placement while going up stairs.  He is such a smart boy he will figure it out soon!

Maxwell is getting more and more comfortable in his new life and even graced us with a half hitch roach!  The next day he followed it up with a full roach!

He has not figured out what these toys laying around the house are for just yet but he continues to be the consummate gentleman with plenty of tail wags, smiles and kisses to go around!

Kiowa P Maxwell: 6/13 - Greyt Start!

Everyone, this is Maxwell!  Maxwell, this is everyone!  Don't worry, you will get to know all of their names in time!  Maxwell is a dreamboat!  Tall, dark, handsome and ever so sweet!  He has been spending the past few days figuring out what this retirement thing is all about!  It seems that if retirement includes soft, cushy beds, delicious meals, ear / head scritches and walks with his humans he is anxious to get it going!  Maxwell is a willing learner and wants to make his human companions happy!  He is liberal with tail wags, smiles and sweet kisses!!  He is also open to snuggling!  He is now living with four girls (two greyhounds and two English Cockers) who are awfully cute, but he doesn't pay them much attention. (Playing hard to get????   Maybe!).  Check in again for the continued adventures of Maxwell as he finds his way in this new world!
