Love: 3/9 - Paws Crossed

πŸ’“πŸ’“πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ Only a couple days until the adoptathon,  Paws crossed that I will find my furever home this weekend.  Foster mom (FM) says I am such a smart sweet special girl that it should be a snap.  I can't wait to meet everyone. So excited!!  FM wanted me to share some 'Love' facts:

  • I am always looking for food, its because I like to eat (who doesn't?).
  • I like to play with the toys and then take a snooze.
  • I 'love' to wander in the backyard if you have one and lie in the sun when its warm enough.
  • I sleep quietly through the night, as long as I have someone in the room with me.
  • I am quiet during the day too, no whining or barking when alone.
  • I like to go for walks, but not too far yet as my paws hurt sometimes
  • I can go up and down the stairs in my foster home
  • I get along well with my foster buddy Reese
  • I am inquisitive and like to know whats going on
  • I am eager to please and like my ears and belly rubbed
  • I listen well and follow the house rules, though I do like to sniff counters when food is around so you may need to remind me not to do that.
  • I have only had one accident in the middle of the night two weeks ago because I had a tummy ache. I cried to let everyone know that I had to go but it was late and everyone was sleeping.  FM finally heard me but it was too late.  She told me it was okay because she knew I was sick and that I was super smart for trying to let her know. I am all better now and accident free since then.

Don't I sound like I would be Greyt for your family?  I need to pack my bags and rest up for the adoptathon so this will be my last post --- #RestingUp4Saturday.  See you Saturday.   #ComeMeetLove.  #PawsCrossed.  πŸ’“πŸ’“πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ

Love: 3/9 - Basketball Anyone?

Hmmm, that hoop looks a little too high.. Oh well maybe I will just pose and look pretty instead.  I am pretty good at that.  Foster Mom (FM) says the adoptathon is this Saturday.  So excited to hopefully meet my Furever family!!!!!   FM says any family would 'love' me as I am such a good sweet easy girl and so fun to have around. Look for more info later .#MoreToCome ...

Love: 3/7 - Toys!!

Toys I just 'love' em. !!!  Click this video link  ------->  Lambchop and me

Love: 3/6 - I'm a good helper.

I do it all, dishes, laundry, groceries.  I just "love' to help.   Hey Foster mom, do you need me to help with these new groceries?  You said you need space, I can clear out a few things in here super quick.   πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€.

Love - 3/5 - Laundry day

It's laundry day.  Foster mom says everyday is laundry day.  Today I offered to help.  No folding for me with my lack of opposable thumbs.  Foster mom was disappointed.  :-(

Love 3/4 - What do you think?

Am I close or what?  Who says greyhounds can't sit or do yoga?

Love - 2/28 - A chocolate bear?

I was away for a little bit but I am back and figured I'd catch up some new yoga moves.

You will never guess what moved in next door while I was away?  This is pretty exciting stuff. Well it’s this little brown fun furry guy who jumps around a lot. Foster Mom says his name is Bear, he's only 10 weeks old, sort of chubby, and has really big feet. She told me he is a 'Chocolate lab'  Hmmm he doesn't look like the chocolate her kids eat, he doesn't smell like the chocolate, (I can't have any chocolate - it’s very very bad for me). That chocolate bear sure is fun to watch.  I "love" to stand by the fence and look for him to come out and play.  Foster mom was too slow with the camera AGAIN so she didn't get a picture of me and my new pal Bear. She said she will try to get one, but for now here is one of me waiting for Bear.

Love: 2/10 - πŸ’“Love SongπŸ’“

Foster Mom's been singing a song to me πŸ’“πŸ’“πŸ’“....Love...Love...Love.....ba ba ba ba ba..... maybe you know it?   What more is there to say except -

πŸ’“ "How about bringing home a little Love this Valentine's Day?" πŸ’“....ba ba ba ba ba....

Love: 2/9 - Stair Princess

It's official I've mastered those silly stairs.  Foster mom says that's because I am such a smart girl. Only a couple days until the adoptathon.  I can't wait to meet everyone and maybe find a furever home. Foster mom wanted me to share some facts about me.

Love: 2/8 - yoga

Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, wait till you hear!!  I found out some exciting news today.  My foster mom told me about this adoptathon thingy where I get to meet some nice people who might want to take me home furever.  My waggy tail was going in circles when I heard that.  !! It's coming up this Saturday. !!

Guess what else?  I went up and down the stairs all by myself, I wanted to see what they were doing up there without me.  I am definitely going to practice more today so I can be the princess of stairs!   Being the princess of stairs is sure to get me adopted, don't you think?

Foster mom took more pictures of guess who? -- Me of course -- check em out. !!.  Oh by the way do you know I do yoga?

Love: 2/7 - new things

Hi its Love,

I am getting the hang of this retirement gig.  I've been busy,  I get to sleep, eat, play, sleep some more, then repeat.  I wanted to tell you about this big black thing in the family room where I can sort of see myself, but all of the sudden it lit up and had these moving pictures and sounds coming out of it.  Well let me tell you I ran across the room so fast!! My foster mom said it was OK and I would get used to the big box called a TV and she was right, now I lie down right next to it.  Just so many new things to get used to.  I am getting better at the stairs too.  I went up and down them 6 times tonight for practice.  Foster mom says I am going to be the stair princess very soon.  Here's some new pictures of me !!!  Later Grey-ter,

Click the link to see a video of me playing, its not long cause foster mom is slow with the camera ..

Love - 2/5/2017

checking out the kitchen
I think I am going to like this retirement thing !!! I woke up today feeling greyt (ha, ha) !!  I was so excited to start the new day, I didn't even worry about going down all those stairs they have. My foster mom says I am a super happy girl in the morning because I wag my tail around in circles. She 'loves' the white on the tip of my tail.  I went out did my business, had my breakfast, and I was ready to go!  So much to see and do. I found these soft squeaky things I can toss around called toys. That was soooo much fun!  I went on a walk, then I had some more practice with the stairs. Going up is sort of hard but I am working on it, going down is pretty easy.  I also investigated a room called the kitchen many, many, times. There are all sorts of interesting smells in that room. I've had no 'accidents' in the house unless you count when I bumped my nose on the silver thing they call a refrigerator.  That really surprised me, but no worries I am OK!  Foster mom gave me a hug and gave it a rub for me.  I  tried to help with something called the dishwasher but my help was not needed.  Another big day for me, looking forward to a good sleep tonight!

~  Later Love.

taking my walk

Love - 2/4/2017

Hi my name is Love and today I started something called retirement. I had a trip in a truck and then in a car with some nice folks called volunteers.  They took me to a place called GreyHound Central where I had my very first spa day.  I had a bath and my nails done and had some treats.  Then smelling fresh and feeling pretty some folks called my foster family put me in another car and took me somewhere called a foster home.  It was fun looking out the window in the car but I finally had to take a snooze.  My new foster mom says I was super duper in the car.

On the ride to this foster home place they talked about.

When I got to this place called 'home'. I met my foster brother Reese who is a very chill greyhound buddy.  There are also two big boys called teenagers who foster mom says are loud but I don't mind them a bit. There is also a dad too. Foster mom says she is happy to have me, another girl, finally in the house!!  When I was done looking around and meeting everybody I put myself in my crate before foster mom could even take off my muzzle.  After a nap I went outside to do my business and came in to explore more.  They have these things called dog beds and I did my best to try them all out.  Check out what a pro I am at using the dog beds.
Big Day, had to put myself to sleep while FM's back was turned.

Trying out a dog bed.
and another one
I like these bed things !!
It was a lot of excitement for my first day of retirement.  More later == Love - Love.
