Hemi (Mac's Hemi): 12/15 - First walk

Hi Everyone!

Apparently, my name is "Hemi" since everyone seems to be calling me that. At first when they said it, I looked around to see who Hemi was and they was looking at me! Not sure why they called me Hemi, but FoMa says it could be cause I'm built like a MAC truck, but I'm not sure why. Alls I know is that the peoples here call me that, so I'm gonna come when they call me in case they has biscuits.

Who's Hemi? You got biscuits?
Yesterday I went for my first walk. It was AMAZING. I saw squirrels and geese and tiny humans on bicycles. I was kinda mesmerized with all the sounds and smells and wandered all over the place on the leash! Today, I got to go again! This time I tried to keep my unimpressed face on (I am a teenager after all) as best as I could, but it was HARD cause it's so AWESOME. Foster Pa (FoPa) said I did much better today and I's a really good boy. Just sayin'.

That's my unimpressed face...been working on it for minutes!
I eat good and poop good. I gets along good with the other hounds and likes to hang out with them on the dog beds. One is kinda grouchy, so I avoid him cause he can't seem to handle my awesomeness. I have seen the cat a few times although she doesn't seem to want to meet me. I got to sniff her a little and she smelled AMAZING. More to follow about the cat!

I am learning the stairs. Geez, FoMa and FoPa's house has lots of stairs! I really wants to be wherever they are, so I'm motivated to learn! I will probably have them down in a few days. I has to go up the stairs if I wants to be with the family for sleep time, so I gotta learn it! Speaking of sleeping, I slept good in my crate last night and didn't wake anyone up!

Well, I gots to go and nap. I'm still recuperating from all the excitement of this past week.
I'll give you more updates in the next few days!

Love,

Hemi
xoxo
