Jaelyn (PJ Stickysticker): 4/7 - An update

Jaelyn here, I am handing this blog over to Foster Mom today.

Hi folks, we have not blogged in a while as Jaelyn has been on a medical hold. This sweet gal came to GEGR with an injury to her rear right toe which was causing her pain and inhibiting her quality of life. GEGR had her examined by a vet and x-rays were taken. After further discussions with the vet, the GEGR Board of Directors concluded that it was best to surgically remove the toe.  Jaelyn had that surgery on March 25th and did extremely well.

She is healing wonderfully and is walking without pain.  We expect her to make a full recovery and be able to do zoomies with the best of them. Throughout this journey she maintained her happy, waggy tailed, sweet, kissy, fun self.  As the vet said on her last visit, she is a "lovely" dog.  She has done wonderfully in our home and will soon be ready to find her furever home, where for sure she will steal your heart away.
