Abby: 12/29 - I'm back!

Well I'm back with auntie Carroll. I was having a hard time getting the hang of potty training at my foster home so auntie Carroll said I could stay with her for the holidays. I've been working really hard for 2 weeks and I think I'm getting it! I'm on this thing called a schedule and I'm learning to go potty as soon as I get outside. No messing around or playing with the other dogs. Auntie Carroll throws a potty party and I get a treat. I really think we can skip the party and just go right to the treat. I like those.
I've been learning to be super quiet in my crate and  how to hang out in there when it's time for meals.  I've been so good in the crate at night that I've graduated to sleeping in Auntie Carroll's room at night with all the other pups.
I get lots of free time to check out the house and all the different rooms. I tend to touch things too hard and sometimes I knock them over. I'm just really curious and I'm not afraid to explore new things. I'm learning a new phrase called Leave It which means I shouldn't touch or pick up items or stick my long nose into certain places. I still like to touch it and then leave it but Auntie Carroll says that's not how it works.
The best part about visiting all the rooms is there's always a comfy bed. Here's a few pics of me napping. It's not my favorite thing but it's what all the other dogs do so I follow their lead.
