Sally: 6/1/17

So, if you're looking for a loving, fun spunky girl - definitely check out Sally!  Every day more and more of her outgoing personality comes through.  We had some house guests over the past week, 2 GEGR friends (one was a former foster of mine) and she had an absolute blast with them.  I'm really impressed at how quickly she takes to other dogs.  For as timid and shy as she can be sometimes (all-be-it not very long), she's very happy to meet new dogs.  So far since she joined us for the first part of retirement, she has meet 5 new dogs (3 greyhounds and 2 pitties) and did not have one issue with any of them.  Just joined right in with the pack.  She's definitely a follower when they're all together but she really hasn't minded being by herself either. But, as you see, she likes to be right in the middle of the pack!  (That's one of my former fosters, "Lucia", photobombing in the back - lol!)

I will say that she just absolutely loves attention and completely thrives on it!  I can see her being content running around playing in the yard with her family and then going straight in to cuddle on the couch with you (if that's ok and if not, then I bet she'd be just as happy on a big fluffy dog bed in the room).  She is just so easy-going! We finally got her first "all alone" walk without any of her buddies and it went great!  She had no hesitations leaving them behind.  She really trusts her people, so be ready to show her the world - she's so curious, just wants to know that she's safe too.  And she walked on the leash like a charm!  Didn't pull and stayed right by my side.  We walked the main part of my neighborhood so lots of cars drove by and it didn't even phase her.  She just kept trotting along to keep up!

And then the big test came .... a rabbit was spotted!!! And here's how she handled it:
(Yes, I promise you she saw it .... it even hopped a bit and she still could've cared less - lol!)

She knew exactly when we got back to the house -
she heard her friends and those ears perked right up!

Gotta come check out her cute little ears ... and take then take her home!
