Jake: 2/6

Hello out there! I'm Jake! I'm just about the happiest hound you'll ever come across. Even though I just started retirement over the weekend, I've already figured out that there are so many things to wag my tail about! Like seeing my foster parents, seeing an empty dog bed just waiting for me to flop down on it, and meal time, and nap time, and treat time, and walk time, and people walking by and...the list goes on. My tail hardly ever stops wagging! I've loved walking around the neighborhood and exploring all of the new sights and scents. Foster mom says that I am sleeping well, eating well, doing my business outdoors, and am very good at the stairs for a new retiree. Yesterday was my 3rd birthday, and to celebrate, my foster family took me to a pet store. I greeted everyone there with my signature tail wag and got lots of petting from the employees. I didn't care for the free treats they offered me...but I did find something I like! Here are some pics from our walk to the pet store.

I'll pass on the mini milk bone, but hellllooooo pig ears!

I'm the handsome dark brindle on the left and that's my foster brother on the right.

Walking home from our adventure. It was warm enough that I didn't need a coat!

That's all for now! Check back soon for updates!
