Hello Friends, Mandy here! It’s been so long, you all
probably wondered where I went. No worries, I’m still at my foster home waiting
for my Forever Family. I’ve been having lots of fun, so I won’t waste any time filling
you in on what I’ve been up to.
As a more mature grey, I take my retirement very seriously. I have my priorities: napping, going for walks, chasing squirrels, sunbathing, and bossing over my foster brother. I've met lots of new friends, been on play dates, walks around the neighborhood and even on a road trip to attend the GEGR picnic. I'm game for pretty much anything, so my foster parents have no problem introducing me to new sights, sounds, or people.
As you can see, I've got relaxing down to a science. I waste no time in finding the most comfortable position on the most comfortable bed so I can catch as many ZZZs as possible. Beauty sleep is the secret to my good looks and youthful complexion. If you need a napping buddy, I'm your girl!

Kiowa P Maxwell 6/16 Greyt Strides!
Maxwell has officially been retired for 1 full week as of today and is really getting the hang of it!
Although life in a house with a bunch of girls can be difficult, he thinks his foster sisters are da bomb! He loves going on walks with them because they share the "stinky stuff" for a a good sniff!
Maxwell has already mastered going down stairs and is working hard to get the hang of effective paw placement while going up stairs. He is such a smart boy he will figure it out soon!
Maxwell is getting more and more comfortable in his new life and even graced us with a half hitch roach! The next day he followed it up with a full roach!
He has not figured out what these toys laying around the house are for just yet but he continues to be the consummate gentleman with plenty of tail wags, smiles and kisses to go around!

Everyone, this is Maxwell! Maxwell, this is everyone! Don't worry, you will get to know all of their names in time! Maxwell is a dreamboat! Tall, dark, handsome and ever so sweet! He has been spending the past few days figuring out what this retirement thing is all about! It seems that if retirement includes soft, cushy beds, delicious meals, ear / head scritches and walks with his humans he is anxious to get it going! Maxwell is a willing learner and wants to make his human companions happy! He is liberal with tail wags, smiles and sweet kisses!! He is also open to snuggling! He is now living with four girls (two greyhounds and two English Cockers) who are awfully cute, but he doesn't pay them much attention. (Playing hard to get???? Maybe!). Check in again for the continued adventures of Maxwell as he finds his way in this new world!

Canon: 6/11 - Hi everyone!
Hi everyone, it's Canon! I just retired this past weekend and I've been having a blast. I am learning about soft beds, stairs, walks, big back yards and rubs. Ear rubs, who knew such a thing could be so great?
My foster family has two other greyhounds, Danny and Candy. They are showing me the retirement ropes. I do love the soft beds! My foster parents work, so I am learning to be alone (without humans) for hours. It seems like a long time when I am in the kennel and when they leave I sing, but they tell me they will come back and they always do.
I'm pretty good at the stairs and I've tried to sniff on the counter but I'm learning that is a no-no. I was corrected at the dinner table with Mr Squirty and I will not be doing that again.
Well I need to say goodnight. I will check in later.
